What to expect

Meet your guide at your hotel at 8.00am and take the 1.5-hour journey north to Balneário Camboriú, a mini version of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Full of beaches and lush green hills, Balneário Camboriú has its own statue of Christ and a network of cable cars the might remind you of the cable cars on Sugar Loaf Mountain. Balneário de Camboriú is one of the most visited cities in Brazil, and its main attraction is Unipraias Park.

The city tour begins along the Atlântica Avenue, and the first stop will be in Barra Norte, where you have free time for photos. Then follow to State Avenue in the direction of Barra Sul, where again there is a photo stop, this time at Molhe, the most recent tourist spot in the city. Next, you will go to Barra Sul, where you can visit Unipraias Park. Here you find three stations interconnected by 47 aerial cable cars that cover 3.25 km at a maximum height of 240 meters. Stop at Mata Atlântica station, and admire spectacular views of the beach. Next comes the Laranjeiras Station, for those who want to enjoy a good sea bath on a quiet beach.

The park offers thrilling activities such as the Youhooo!, a mountain sled running up to 60km/hour. You can also try the ZipRider! Where you decent for almost a kilometer down at over 240 meters high. Unipraias Park is the ideal place to catch the best views from the city, get around Balneário, and enjoy thrilling experiences at the top of Aguada Hill.
