Rhodes is almost a stone's throw from Turkey and with its whitewashed villages and rich medieval castles, makes for a great daytrip. From Fethiye harbour, you'll ride a hydrofoil to Rhodes town, the capital, and have the day to explore its history-steeped streets.

The town is packed with attraction – with its picturesque harbour, new town and walled old quarter built by the Knights of St John. Tick through sights including the Street of the Knights, the vast Palace of the Grand Masters and 15th century Hospital of the Knights. Once you're done with history, explore the cobbled passageways – they're filled with fountains, churches and shops selling local handicrafts and delicacies. Or head for the new town's pavement cafés and chic boutiques.

And don't miss Mandraki harbour. Home to luxury yachts and waterfront cafés, it was once home to the legendary Colossus of Rhodes – one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Great day ,but pick up driver didn't have us on his list.But made a phone call and was quickly sorted.Guests need to be better informed of port tax ,amount and need for cash before drop off.

Very disappointing. Rhodes old town was beautiful but we had very little time to enjoy. We were led to to believe we would have around 4-5 hours of free time to enjoy Rhodes however so much time was taken clearing customs and security that we ended up with around 3 hours or less so our trip was rushed. Timelines as follows. Hotel pick up 7.15am Ferry depart Fethiye 8.30am Ferry arrive Rhodes approx 11am - told crossing approx 1hr 40min but was 2hr 30min Cleared customs and passport control 12pm

It was a 13 hour day with 3 hours spent in Rhodes Town which was fabulous, but 10 hours spent either travelling or queuing at passport control. It would be far better if TUI could organise a weekly trip to Rhodes where there is a fast pass through passport control (as it's a day trip and no one has luggage) and could also include a guide for the town as well and maybe book a restaurant for lunch. If we had been told at the time that we would spend 4 hours queuing we probably wouldn't have gone

Madness and mayhem at both ports, very disorganised, people pushing and jumping the line at both ports, this should have been explained to us before purchase as it shortened our time to tour Rhodes, TUI rep didn't forwarn us of this and unfortunately it left us very disappointed.
