Zulu Dinner Show

4.1/5
49 reviews

Look no further than the Zulu dinner show for an evening of Tunisian fun. Tribal groups, belly dancers and Berber drummers come together to deliver this entertainment extravaganza, which will have you on your feet. What's more, you'll tuck into a sumptuous banquet with free-flowing drinks. The tour has all the ingredients for an evening to remember.

You'll be picked up from your hotel and transported to Friguia Animal Park, Tunisia's first zoo. On arrival, there's free time to explore the park and get up close to tigers, elephants, giraffes and more animals which roam around large, natural-style enclosures.

Then, it's on to the main event. Take your seat in the Shaka restaurant, a circular thatched tent where you'll spend the rest of the evening. The show kicks off in style with a belly dance performance, followed by infectious drumming, tribal dances and melodic songs by African folklore groups. All this while you feast on hearty Tunisian cuisine, washed down with unlimited wine and soft drinks.

I’m very disappointed with this excursion. I told the TUI representative that I was travelling with an 82-year-old lady who had open-heart surgery a few months ago and can only manage 1–2 steps. I paid mainly to make her happy and surprise her, but it was unsuitable, with over 10 steps and long walks. Another elderly lady fell on the steps. The Aboriginal dance presentation was extremely loud, making it impossible to enjoy the meal. We couldn’t enjoy the zoo or show, and my £100 was wasted.

The food and drink were served quickly, but there was only red wine on the table and no white. I didn't like the way the server brought my husband's beer and stood there obviously waiting to be tipped. The Zulu dancers were very good entertainment, the belly dancers went on too long, so much so even the dancers looked red up. There was more than enough food in dishes on the table for everyone.

Too long at the zoo. Meal was good, only red wine and soft drinks included in price. Service & show were very good.

It was a fantastic trip, I marked it down slightly as the zoo animal looked miserable, it was 45’ when we went. The seal show was ok. There was very little shade around the zoo so dress appropriately The Zulu part was fantastic. It was in a large air conditioned room, food was good and the drinks were topped up quickly. Entertainment was superb. We purchased a photo and frame for 40td which was a bargain.
