A day packed with culture, spirituality and flavour. You'll visit three of the most important temples in the Phang Nga province – the Dragon Cave, Bang Rieng Pagoda and Manee Sri Mahathat.

First up is the Dragon Cave Temple. Built within and on top of limestone caves, it's as impressive as it is beautiful. Its monks make healing remedies. Next is Bang Rieng Pagoda Temple, high up in the mountains. It is a mixture of Thai and Chinese influences, and its location offers up amazing views of the area.

The final temple is Manee Sri Mahathat. It boasts a collection of wax statues of Indian, Chinese and Thai deities. But the most popular of all is that of Phor Than Klai – a monk known as ‘Golden Mouth' because of his ability to predict lottery numbers. And to round off the tour, you'll dine at a restaurant in a mangrove jungle, where you can try traditional delicacies.

Unser Guide Volker war sehr sympathisch und kompetent. Wir haben einen sehr guten Einblick in den Buddhismus, die Geschichte der einzelnen Tempel, aber auch in das Alltagsleben durch seine Erzählungen bekommen. Unser Fahrer Nett hat uns sicher von einem Ort zum anderen gebracht und war sehr sympathisch.

Great trip to 3 very different temples, our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the different styles. She also shared with us the story of Budda and pointed out interesting sights at each temple. Definitely would recommend this trip, excellent value for money. Drsiver was helpful handing out drinks and wipes after each stop with a friendly smile. Lunch was very good, a traditional style Thai meal and my Vegetarian request was catered for with more than just rice.

The temples tour was very enlightening, our guide was very knowledgeable, she had plenty of facts to keep us educated on the day. Transfers were easy, at each temple we we offered refreshments which were gratefully received...the Air conditioned Minivan a welcome sanctuary from the extreme hear Full marks to both guide and driver

Our guide was Jasmine who was extremely knowledgeable, personable and entertained us with stories and humour for the whole day. Our driver was efficient and courteous providing us with an endless supply of drinks and cool hand wipes on what was a very hot day. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend with Jasmine as the guide

Unser Guide Volker war sehr sympathisch und kompetent. Wir haben einen sehr guten Einblick in den Buddhismus, die Geschichte der einzelnen Tempel, aber auch in das Alltagsleben durch seine Erzählungen bekommen. Unser Fahrer Nett hat uns sicher von einem Ort zum anderen gebracht und war sehr sympathisch.
