Seeing Asian elephants from a few metres away is one of life's must-do experiences – so this trip is a big tick on the bucket list. Head to an elephant santuary in Khao Lak, and you'll get to go behind-the-scenes to learn all there is to know about these gentle giants. Arriving at its beautiful lagoon setting, you'll get to know the elephants' stories and prepare their food. After time to observe them and help with their care, you'll finish off with a tasty Thai lunch and a chance to make a traditional Thai herbal pomander 'Ya-Dom' which you can take with you.

Es war ein wirklich unvergessliches Erlebnis. Ich kann es nur jedem raten diese Tour zu machen. Von der Herstellung des Futters bis zum Baden der Elefanten einfach nur toll. Im Anschluss zum Restaurant das wie im Garten von Eden angelegt ist einfach spitze. Wir haben auch dort noch diese Duft Tiegel selbst herstellen können. Schade das diese Tour nur in englischer Sprache gibt. Aber das ging auch. In der Beschreibung stand auch das man sich ein Handtuch mit bringen soll zum Baden, das war auch

Tour guide was excellent, lots of knowledge and very friendly, trip was really good , sanctuary cared for elephants really well 😊😊

The day from start to finish was outstanding. Tour guide was excellent, the whole package was value for money. The experience was amazing and a lifetime memory. The food included at the restaurant was excellent too.
