From ancient laurel forests with bubbling streams to deep palm-filled valleys and black sand beaches, La Gomera is the unsung hero of the Canary Islands. You'll take the ferry over from Tenerife to explore its verdant national park and seek out some spectacular rock formations on this 4x4 full day tour.

Once you arrive at the shores of La Gomera, the mystical lands of Garajonay National Park will be in the background as you sweep and swoop by 4x4 through valleys and forests to viewpoints. Wind your way up to Roque de Agando, the island's iconic volcanic rock formation that pierces the sky at an incredible 4,100ft-tall.

You'll take a break over a typical lunch before being treated to a Silbo whistling demonstration. Then, learn all about the island that was the bridge to discovering the New World before returning to Tenerife.

The tour of the Island 🏝 was very good, transfer and ferry crossing was quick. The tour was not in a 4x4 jeep but a VW Transporter (mini bus) which was quite old and the driver and the rest of the group were French- very unfair to offload me with this group. Again the lunch was good but I was in the company of French people. Overall I did not get what I expected and paid for. Unacceptable. The plus point it was a very clear and sunny day.

Die Tour war toll, wir haben viel gesehen. Ein bisschen mehr Erklärungen unterwegs wären auch schön gewesen. Schade war dass wir gemeinsam mit (sehr netten)Franzosen im Jeep waren,so musste immer alles doppelt erzählt werden. Zumal auch 2 andere deutsche Touristen in einem anderen Jeep saßen. Auf der Rückfahrt saßen wir ganz hinten (Notsitze?) mit Null Beinfreiheit. Nach 1 Stunde +Fahrzeit waren unsere Knie nicht sehr erfreut.

Le 4x4 qui nous a repris avait les freins qui fumaient en fin de tour. Attention à la révision des véhicules! Le 2ème chauffeur n’était pas causant non plus. Mais sinon, le guide francophone était top et l’île vraiment splendide!
