The cherry on top of a perfect holiday in Majorca has to be a catamaran cruise. This half-day cruise from Cala Ratjada sails the island's stunning northeast coast and stops to let you swim and snorkel in the sea. There's also a lunch of delicious Majorcan dishes included, complete with a few drinks.

The half day cruise takes you out to sea and along the Llevant peninsula – a haven for marine life and top coastal views. Feel the sea breeze and dip your toes in the water – it's the ultimate in relaxation. Your captain will drop anchor for a couple of hours at a secluded cove, where you are free to sunbathe, swim and even snorkel in the clear waters.

Once you've built up an appetite, a tasty lunch of freshly-prepared Majorcan dishes will be served, alongside drinks. And afterwards you can continue to snooze in the shade, catch a few rays on deck or kick back and admire the views as we sail gently back to shore. As relaxing catamaran cruises go, this one is tough to beat.

We booked this trip as a group of four and we can only say positive things about it. The staff were lovely, the boat was great and going around the island to the swim stops was fantastic. Great value for money and all four of us said we would happily book the same trip again!

They didn’t tell us what was going to happen and how long we were getting at each stop to swim, there was no safety briefing and only two stops instead of the three we were told would take place

Overall, the experience was okay. It was described as more luxurious than it turned out to be. The swim spots in the sea was the best bit; it was lovely to swim in the sea and snorkel looking for fish. The lunch and drinks were also pleasant. However, the seating was uncomfortable and claustrophobic. You couldn’t sit and relax to read a book. There were several children under 13 making a lot of noise. Therefore, the journey back from the last stop was unbearable really in the heat of the day.

A lot of money for any family these days but nothing cheap anymore. The driver of our Katamaran was FANTASTIC. Took time out loads to speak about the island and the fight to save the oceans creatures in the area. What a guy, what a company
