Home to Lanzarote's only salt-water wave pool, Aqualava Waterpark in Playa Blanca promises plenty of water-soaked action. You'll be picked up at your hotel and brought to the park to enjoy its slides, pools and daredevil rides. An action-packed day out for all the family.

All the pools are heated using geothermal energy, so you can expect every inch of Aqualava to blend in with Lanzarote's volcanic landscape. But it's made all the more exciting with water slides, chutes and pools suitable for all family members as well as adrenaline-pumping rides for the bravest. And when you want to take it easy, you can float along the lazy river or hit the sun loungers.

There are all the facilities you'd need for a day out. What's more, attractions are adapted for guests with limited mobility, including the use of an amphibious wheelchair, and free Wi-Fi is available to share your holiday snaps.

Part of our holiday was to go have a beach day, my daughter cut her feet 5 times in the pool which had stopped us from having a beach day due to her not feeling comfortable walking on her open cuts. I told reception, tui rep and the life guard and everyone gave a very arrogant " what do you want me to do about it" type of response. Tui reps were barley seen, safety was a joke as there was a lot of chips in the floor of the pool leaving my daughter Injured. Got lost to our room on the first day

The park is not as advertised & it is impossible to stay for more than a couple of hours. We left & walked into Playa Blanca so we didn’t waste a day. The food was pricey, we paid 53 euros for 2 hotdogs & 2 panini’s which were actually frozen pizzas and gave 1 of us an upset stomach. The coach to the park so was so busy , bit the driver was good & helpful. The coach on the way back didn’t seem road worthy, there was rust all across the exterior. I would not recommend this excursion.
