The best spot for a bit of retail therapy is La Rambla, a tree-lined avenue packed with fashion stores and chic coffee bars. In the Old Town you'll find Gothic churches, an ornate concert hall, and the mighty cathedral or head towards the port, and you can see the hippos and monkeys at Barcelona Zoo

Grab a taxi right to the heart of the city to Gaudi's most famous creation, the Sagrada Familia or travel to the west of the city for a tour of Barcelona's famous football stadium, Camp Nou.

Very easy to walk around by ourselves. Good signposts. Saw seafront and harbour with expensive yachts. Dropped off at railway station which was a good starting point. Also free toilets 🚻

Booked the day with tui rep. He said it would take an hour to get there. Took 2 and a half there and 2 and a half back. Spent 5 hours on a coach and cost a fortune. Certainly wouldn't have booked it if I'd known that

Lack of information priot to the experience made it quite unclear where we were being collected from,at what time and where we were being droppes off. Trip was described as 4-8 hours, this is a significant difference and made it really hard to plan anything. Rep at hotel had very little information when asked. Train was cheaper and more convenient. Would not reccomend.

I loved the convenience of the pick up and drop off as it took away any stress of having to get to barcelona and back without getting lost. The drive was lovely and the guide was very knowledgeable about what we were passing. We had plenty of time in barcelona and will 100% book again so that we could go further and see more of barcelona. It was a great trip for my first time in barcelona.
