With a landscape carpeted in fuchsia bougainvillea, scarlet poinsettias and lilac trees, Madeira is Portugal's own Garden of Eden. And the very best of the island's natural beauty is on display in Funchal's botanical gardens. This tour includes ample time to explore the flower-filled grounds, and the option to visit the Natural History Museum, too.

Guide Thiago was super all round. Gardens are delightful - only improvement would be tour being 30 mins longer for more time in gardens - even if makes it more expensive

Ideal for us as an older couple. Transported where we wanted to go by cheerful guide Tiago. Would definitely recommend. Roads a bit bumpy but that was due to pot holes in road!
