After lunch in a restaurant, you'll head to San Felipe Fort for a guided visit before setting off back to base.

They put us in a very small minibus and my partner had to initially sit in a squashed back seat when there were children (different guests) in seats with more space at the front for over 3 hours and thus hurt his knees. Only when he complained, the guide said on the way back that the children had to sit at the back and we got moved to more space. This should be organized from the start and if possible use larger coaches or advise families with children that as full this happens. Bacalar nice.

The rep for this trip was amazing. As it is such a long transfer maybe it should be a helicopter trip. It might cost more but it would be well worth it.

It was a long drive back just over 3 hours and no toilet stop and no toilet on the bus so this needs to be built in for people’s comfort. It was an amazing experience but a simple thing like this needs to be accounted for.
