Tulum, cenote swim, turtle snorkelling and beach club combo tour

4.4/5
1046 reviews

Exploring Mexico just got a whole lot easier. On this full day adventure, you'll tick off no less than four different activities. Start with a guided visit of the archaeological site of Tulum, then head to a cenote for a swim. Next, it's off to Akumal for a spot of snorkelling. Round off your day with lunch at a beach club. Carmen, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘The most photographed structure in the archaeological site is the Castillo, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The Castillo might be the most famous, but there are plenty of other ancient Mayan ruins to explore, such as the Temple of the Descending God and the Temple of the Frescoes.'

The marvels of the Mayan culture will be revealed on your guided tour around Tulum. You'll learn about it's past as a walled city, and its former role as a trading hub. After the tour you'll have free time to explore at your leisure. Next, prepare to be dazzled by colours at an ancient Mayan cenote, a natural cave with a freshwater pool fed by underground water sources and considered sacred by the Mayans.

After a cooling swim, we'll head for the picturesque seaside community of Akumal, known for its laid-back atmosphere, natural beauty, and abundant marine life. With its intriguing underwater world, Akumal offers one of the best snorkelling experiences in the Riviera Maya. Encounter an array of tropical fish, corals, and perhaps even sea turtles. To complete your day, unwind and indulge in a tasty meal at a nearby beach club.

Guide was fabulous- places were wonderful esp the cenote. It was expensive for a family of 4 and lunch was the last thing of the day.

The only thing which was annoying was that we couldn't do any photos or recordings at Centoe swim and they wanted for their photos which were very average 70 dollars for 4-5 photos. Apart from that the tour guide was amazing, her name was Ximena. The way she say about everything was just amazing, one of the best guides. They were keep supplying us with water so that was really good, specially in that hot weather

Photography package expensive. Didn’t receive pictures after paying $180. Have had to charge back to credit card. Photo package not worth the money - photos bad quality

The tour was great but the cave swimming was altered and it was underground. I was not therefore able to do it along with another group member. Also we did not visit the Mayan village as informed we would do by our two. The turtle swim was amazing. The guide was also excellent

We enjoyed everything. Only problem was the photos were extortionate no way we were paying $180. We would have bought photos but at a reasonable price. Shame as have just our memories instead of the photos.

Please be mindful when at the cenotes the photo package for ourselves has been a nightmare and we have been sold something that wasn’t even for offer which did sour the day which is a shame as it is nothing to do with the tour guide it’s a 3rd party but we feel like it ruined the day a little
