You'll ease into the day with a visit to a traditional olive oil factory to see how it is made, followed by a ceramics workshop, run by the artist Timo. Then, you'll meet your local guide at an Orthodox monastery and move on to discover the Temple of Hera, one of the largest temples in Ancient Greece.

Now you've earned a quick break, and the picturesque village of Pythagorio is just the place for it. You'll have some free time here to grab lunch before ending the day with a visit to a nearby wine factory for a tasting of the locally-produced vino.

The tour guide & coach driver were fantastic. We saw a lot & the trip ran 2-3hrs over which could be a problem for some but not for us. We felt there were about 10-15 too many people, for example going to the monastery was hard to fit into the main religious building & the wine tasting was a bit of a joke. No fault of the vineyard staff just too many of us so could not hear the poor girl trying to give us the information.

It was a good tour with exciting things to see. The guides and bus driver were all extremely nice and friendly. Our rep Katerina helped us book it and introduce us to the option which was very nice.

We did the trip as a way to see Pythagoreio and the Temple of Hera. It would have been nice to have had more time at these stops and less time at the winery at the end. Also the large full coach made it a bit rushed.
