Take a day trip to Turkey from the shores of Samos. Hop on a ferry and cross the Aegean Sea to tour a real Turkish treasure – Ephesus archaeological site. Let an expert guide bring history to life as you stroll between column-lined avenues crammed with temples, relics and religious statues. Afterwards, there's free time to discover the bazaars and shops of Kusadasi, too.

Our guide. Hadi, was very knowledgable about Ephesus and its history. He took us around and tried to avoid crowded areas. Maria took us from Samos and stay with the group for the day. We constantly informed about the trip and the timings.

I have always wanted to visit Ephesus and it certainly didn't disappoint. The guide that we met up with in Kusadasi 'George' was excellent and obviously very passionate about making sure everyone had the best experience. Clearer information about who to meet and where in Samos could have been better

Prachtige excursie, alleen de boottocht viel wat tegen. De boot van Pytagoria naar Kusadasi was erg oud en het was erg warm binnen, je kan niet buiten zitten.

We would have liked more information about outward journey - assumed pick-up by coach so surprised (but very happy) to be taken to the port by cab. We were dropped at unoccupied port passport control building and left waiting for an hour - unfortunately in the open in pouring rain - for it to open with no idea how to obtain our ferry tickets. However, once boarded we had a great experience and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable - very genial too and he communicated well.

Although everything was in English language there was no local explanation of the way the ticketing worked on the outward and return ferry. The use of the boarding cards in particular. Ephesus its self was a bit disappointing they have a lot of work to do to make sense of all of the ruins.I have seen better examples in Italy and other countries. Considering the Turks charge €45 entrance fee I wonder how much is spent on the restoration. The guide provided too much information about himself

Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Walk through Ephesus seemed a bit rushed. Temple of Artemis was disappointing, nothing really to see.
