You know you're on holidays when you find yourself in sunshine with a balmy sea breeze washing over you. As lazy holiday mornings go, it's hard to beat this boat trip to the deserted islet of St George – known as ‘Rabbit Island' because it was once overrun with them. Hop on the boat at Petra port and enjoy a quick cruise over. Once there, you'll have time to sunbathe, swim or take selfies by the dinky chapel. Top it off with a tasty barbecue meal.

Lovely boat ride past some iconic Greek cities before heading to rabbit island, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see some rabbits yourself! The water was cool :) My only complaint would be the bees, be sure to bring some coffee or other spice to burn so the smoke is a deterrent. Otherwise, enjoy!

Heel lekker eten, leuk snorkelgebied, dolfijnen gespot.
