Lefkas is bursting with beauty and history – and this panoramic tour gives you a great taste of both. You'll discover its best sights, with a guide bringing everything to life. Star turns include Faneromeni Monastery and the villages of Agios Nikitas and Vassiliki.

Your adventure begins when we drive over a causeway and a drawbridge, passing by Santa Maura Castle. Covering a whole islet, the walls are the only intact part of this once strategic Venetian fortification. Next up is Faneromeni Monastery, which boasts great views over the capital and lagoon.

Then we'll head along the west coast to Agios Nikitas. This gorgeous village slopes down towards the turquoise sea. It's an ideal spot for a coffee break and a gander in the shops. From here, visit Kathisma beach, where you'll have a couple of hours to swim, sunbathe and relax. Finally, drive to the south coast village of Vassiliki, watching the windsurfers in the bay while chilling at the harbour.

Bad start as not picked up from hotel. My fault because not read pick up point but voucher so small hadn’t seen. Meet up with coach later at main town. Too long there even with shorten time. Enjoyed monastery but then should go to main beach and not stop on the way. Too short a time at beach arriving far too late to get lunch. Sea was very rough no-one’s fault but disappointing. Stop at Vassiliki not long enough. On the whole a very long tiring day with little pleasure.

We enjoyed the island discovery trip very much and would recommend it to everyone. The coach picked us up on time and was very clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning. The places we visited were beautiful and we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Our guide Joanna was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Lefkada. Our driver Adonis took care of us on some steep mountain roads which were difficult to navigate at times. Excellent trip, thank you ☺️

A great introduction to the island - visiting a few of Lefkada’s famous beaches. There was a lot to see and do in one day, which gave me inspiration for planning how to spend my time during the rest of the trip.
