Entirely renovated, the museum allows you to discover with a natural and original light Monet’s Nymphéas (Water Lilies) and 146 other masterpieces of the Walter-Guillaume collection (Renoir, Cézanne, Modigliani, Matisse, Picasso, Derain, Soutine).

As I tried to get tickets through the site of the Orangerie there were no time slots available. Musement had tickets and it all worked out just fine.

Unfortunately there were too many people & a class of very little kids that made the experience in Monet’s Water Lillies rooms very noisy & not calming at all. The rest of the museum was better. Thank you.

The tickets we booked did not have a time allocation. We were therefore in the same queue as those without tickets. This was not expected.

Es waren keine Zeittickets sondern gültig für den ganzen Tag. Meine Annahme war, dass wir dadurch jederzeit reinkönnen ohne Schlange. In Realität mussten wir aber in der Schlange stehen mit all denen, die gar keine tickets hatten und sind dann am Ticketschalter vorbei. Der Kauf war also nutzlos. Wir hätten tickets genausogut vor Ort kaufen können ohne weitere Wartezeit. Das einzige, was wir gekauft haben, war Einflexibilität bzgl. des Tages des Besuches.
