Informed by rep the day before that tour was cancelled. Still awaiting a refund, which I was told would be automatically provided.

Not worth the money. Coco plantation lasted about 10 mins just sat and was shown jars and gave us luke warm Coco and coffee to drinks wanted us to buy stuff. Cigar factory two men rolling cigars. That was it Coconut oil just wanted us to buy things. Last stop church One of the worst tours I have been on. Probably the worst tour I have ever been on .

We did not go to the market, the trip was quite rushed and when we were in a secluded area the guide asked us for a tip and said they were not working with the driver and they needed a tip. We felt intimidated and had to give a tip and then tip the driver too. The cocoa plantation was disappointing there was nothing to try without milk in and the demonstration was five minutes. The cigar factory and coconut factory were also five minutes each very rushed would not recommend

Loved this trip. A real eye opener for life in the Dominican Republic. Andy the tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable and funny. His assistant Roo was so helpful.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the additional tour of the cathedral. However the bus that arrived to collect us did not offer seatbelts. The bus was then involved in a road traffic accident. We sustained minor injuries, but this could have been a lot more serious. TUI should never provide unsafe vehicles for customers. Despite raising this as a complaint with TUI, they were not concerned and offered no help with the matter. Don’t book any excursions through TUI.
