If you want a top-notch tan whilst trying something new, then a trip to a hammam or Turkish bath is definitely for you. Hammams have existed in Turkey since ancient times, providing locals with a way to relax and freshen up. They're also brilliant for exfoliating your skin so you're more likely to develop a lasting tan.

Head to one of the best local hammams and you'll change into your swimwear and wrap up in a towel. The hammam itself is a humid, marble-tiled room with a ‘gobektasi', a heated stone slab in the centre. Relax as the heat softens your skin, opens your pores and gets you sweating out those toxins.

Lie on the ‘gobektasi', and you'll be treated to an aromatic salt body scrub followed by a covering in soft, soapy bubbles and a face mask. After that, you'll enjoy a bronzing oil massage and a fresh fruit plate that'll leave you positively glowing. It's a great way to start your holiday.

I enjoyed my massage but my husband was talked into a deep tissue massage, cost 100€ which we found later was expected to be paid in cash. The website clearly said don't bring valuables so we had no money or card with us. Since then, he has had a pain in his ribs, with bruising.

I booked this excursion for myself and a female friend. We were picked up on time and taken to the spa. Facilities looked good. We had a sauna then a steam room. The Hammam was cool, not warm. One staff member was more proficient than the other. We then were separated for the massage. Mine was mediocre at best and half way through we were given a hard sell for additional massages for €100! I declined but my friend felt bullied into it and was marched to a cash machine afterwards to pay for it.

Der Transport war super. Vor Ort werden diverse Zusatzleistungen angeboten. Hierbei geht es um Peelings, Getränke und Fotos die vor Ort gemacht werden. Das Hamam war insgesamt sehr ruppig und kurz. Während der Massage kam der Manager zweimal rein und hat sehr penetrant insgesamt 7x versucht weitere Massagen (u.a. Hot-Stone) zu verkaufen, da die Muskeln sehr schlapp seien. Dies wurde bei allen Gästen so durchgeführt. Insgesamt war ich durch den Gesamteindruck für den Preis enttäuscht.

Das hatte echt nichts mit deluxe zu tun. Es ging alles viel zu schnell man konnte es nicht mal genießen. Die Tücher auf der Massageliege haben extrem gestunken. Das würde ich kein zweites mal machen u d auch nicht weiterempfehlen.
