This evening tour blends countryside exploring with a dose of Ottoman history. Between the open road and the show, it's like taking a step back in time and will feel a world away from your resort.

You'll rumble off-road through rural villages in a 4x4 and roll past sprawling fields and orchards. There's time to pause by the Alara River and, in the summer months, cool off with a dip if you're up for it. Then, it's on to Alarahan Caravanserai, a historic stopover from old trade‑route days.

Here, you'll sit down to dinner inside its stone walls and take a look at the wax‑figure displays of Seljuk and Ottoman sultans. Authentic dancing and detailed costumes help the Anatolian Sultans bring Ottoman customs and stories to life in a lively show.

The experience was not as sold by our TUI re. We were led to believe that we would be visiting the castle and oldest hotel in the world. Apart from our guide Jimmy on the Jeep part of the tour, it was badly organised at the venue and utter chaos as was obviously over subscribed. We were squashed in like sardines and it was a very unpleasant overall experience. Thankfully the dancers were very good. Not worth the money spent and would definitely not recommend.

Es war eine wunderschöne Tour mit Action und einer einzigartigen Show nur müßte der Reiseleiter auch in deutscher Sprache erzählen bei der jeep Safari hat das wunderbar geklappt da hatten wir einen Fahrer der uns in deutscher Sprache alles übersetzt hat die Show am Abend war ein Traum
