Djerba Explore Park shows you a slice of rural Tunisian life. This replica desert village is teeming with shops, showpieces and traditional Tunisian treasures to explore. Take a nose around the museum at collections of Islamic art, glittering traditional robes and ancient calligraphy, then get an insight into the country's long-standing industries at the pottery workshops and olive oil mill. The cherry on top? The 400 Nile crocodiles that lounge around palm-fringed lagoons – not something you'll forget in a hurry.

Einfach faszinierend diese Ur-Dinos so nahe sehen zu können. Auch die große Anzahl der Tiere im Gehege war verblüffend. Die Fütterung ist ein Highlight, jedoch nur von kurzer Dauer. Im Reptilienpark hat mir die Ausschilderung der verschiedenen Arten gefehlt. Das Museum war ganz nett und wenn man an der tunesischen Geschichte interessiert ist sicher auch ein Besuch wert. Fazit: es hat uns gefallen und wir können es empfehlen wenn man Krokodile mal sehr nah sehen will.
