Your exploration of Wat Pho commences just outside the temple complex. Upon entering, your first stop is the Temple of the Reclining Buddha where you can admire the impressive 150-foot statue while learning about its significance and backstory. Following this, you'll discover a raised garden featuring a mural and a Bodhi tree, the very type under which Buddha meditated to reach enlightenment.
The journey continues to the Scripture Hall, home to large statues of guardian demons and a vast collection of Buddha’s early teachings. From there, proceed to the Sermon Hall, one of the oldest structures in the temple, before moving on to the Royal Chedi pagodas. You'll then explore Phra Rabiang, which houses 400 Buddha images, whilst uncover the history behind their placement.
