Excellent tour, a few points - it felt rushed. A smaller mini bus rather than a huge coach would be more pleasant. The staff were great, but busy hearding people who couldn’t be bothered to be on time. A 40 min stop at a tourist shop on the way was unnecessary. A 20 min toilet stop would have been fine, and a much longer stop around roques de Garcia would have been preferable. On booking, it said hotel pick up. Only after booking do you find out the pick up is actually a 20 min walk.

The mt teide experience with cable car was cancelled, through no fault of tui. But, cable car experience was cancelled (monies refunded) , I messaged several times as to wether the rest of the tour was going ahead? Where we still being picked up at 7:30am at radisson hotel? No actual factual reply to any of this, just a bot saying cable car cancelled. By this time I tried to cancel to get a full refund but as the window for this was so short a believe we've lost the remaining ££ . So disappoint

Sadly the cable car was closed but our excellent guide Alex and our skilled driver Marco made sure we saw lots of the Teide park.

This was an amazing tour to Mount Teide and the surrounding areas. Our tour guide was amazing throughout, keeping our group organised and on time throughout whilst speaking English/Spanish/German and relaying facts about the area! We were lucky to be able to take the cable car on the day but this is weather dependant. It would be good to have slightly longer at each point to explore. The pick up point location map on the booking is useless and could be more informative - we had to ask a rep.

Watch out for the shoe police! Very rigid application of footwear rules meant that we had to buy cheap flimsy shoes at a gift shop on the way as we were not allowed to wear our sturdy walking sandals. Even though the top station is fully paved you have to be able to undertake a 3 hour walk down if there is an emergency that stops the cable car. I’d rather do that in my sandals!
