The cherry on top of a perfect holiday in Majorca has to be a catamaran cruise. This half-day cruise from Cala Ratjada sails the island's stunning northeast coast and stops to let you swim and snorkel in the sea. There's also a lunch of delicious Majorcan dishes included, complete with a few drinks.

The half day cruise takes you out to sea and along the Llevant peninsula – a haven for marine life and top coastal views. Feel the sea breeze and dip your toes in the water – it's the ultimate in relaxation. Your captain will drop anchor for a couple of hours at a secluded cove, where you are free to sunbathe, swim and even snorkel in the clear waters.

Once you've built up an appetite, a tasty lunch of freshly-prepared Majorcan dishes will be served, alongside drinks. And afterwards you can continue to snooze in the shade, catch a few rays on deck or kick back and admire the views as we sail gently back to shore. As relaxing catamaran cruises go, this one is tough to beat.

We booked this trip as a group of four and we can only say positive things about it. The staff were lovely, the boat was great and going around the island to the swim stops was fantastic. Great value for money and all four of us said we would happily book the same trip again!

Good pick up, although from another hotel it was only 5 minutes down the road, drop off was just as easy. 40 mins coach ride to marina was ok. swft check in with boat staff, perhaps felt like a very brief safety talk, but it had to be said in multiple languages, boat trip, swim stops, lunch was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Provided life vests for children including for non swimmers if needed at the swimming stops so all could enjoy the sea swimming experience.

The crew didn't engage much. Although I understand laws are different in Spain, there were lots of people smoking on the boat. Quite a few fell over and hurt themselves coming off the net, probably due to too many people on there, very little first aid given, a wet paper towel and a plaster, this frightened my little boy who then just sat inside. No mention on email about taking cash, yet had to pay for drinks when sailing. Only positive was the food which was outstanding.

We booked this trip as a group of four and we can only say positive things about it. The staff were lovely, the boat was great and going around the island to the swim stops was fantastic. Great value for money and all four of us said we would happily book the same trip again!
