This tour follows in the footsteps of Lanzarote's much-loved local artist, Cesar Manrique. Admire the dramatic designs of his Cesar Manrique Foundation and Cactus Garden, see the inspiring natural wonders of the Green Caves, and visit the typical town of Teguise.

First up is Teguise. Lanzarote's former capital, its colonial church and whitewashed balconied mansions are picture-postcard. Drive through the wow-factor scenery of Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees to Haria, and after an optional lunch, we'll visit the Green Caves.

This labyrinth of hidden galleries, passages and natural staircases leads you to an impressive natural auditorium. There's also visits to two of Manrique's most defining designs. His Cactus Garden perfectly highlights his lifelong ambition to marry the worlds of nature and architecture. And at the Cesar Manrique foundation located in his studio-home, see how the artist was inspired by the dark volcanic landscapes he grew up in.

Enjoyed - The 30 minutes (too short) in the cactus garden,the green caves & hour at manriques house. Did not enjoy - 30 mins in Teguise (too short to do anything,most shops closed & been before on another trip). Really unhappy about the hour spent at the aloe museum,been before on another trip,it’s just a sales pitch. Pickup and drop off should be in the same order,else not fair if you get picked up first as we were on the coach for 2.5 hours in the end going around the hotels in playa blanca.

Wie haben die Reise online gebucht und sind davon ausgegangen im Hotel abgeholt zu werden, sehr versteckt hat sich dann ein ganz anderer Abholort geoutet, für uns nicht ersichtlich und bis wir das gefunden hatten, war der Bus ohne uns abgefahren, Mega ärgerlich, man muss seine Telefonnummer angeben und trotzdem hat niemand versucht uns zu kontaktieren. Über das Hotel selbst haben wir eine private Tour gebucht, am selben Tag. Von der TUI war leider niemand erreichbar. Doppelt alles bezahlt.

Guiden snakket utydelig, vanskelig å forstå. Ville heller besøkt C.Manrique museum i Haria, og droppet Aloe Vera-museét, som det heller ikke stod noe om at vi skulle innom. Kan ikke se hva det har med C.M. å gjøre. Ellers fint med de grønne grottene og kaktusparken. C.M.foundation spesielt og også kaktusparken var høydepunkt.

contente d'avoir trouvé enfin une guide qui parlait très bien le français, de plus elle était très attentiveau suivi du groupe et très disponible. Le parcours d'accès à la grotte étant parait-il accidenté, je n'ai pas osé y aller, le signaler sur vos documents

We hebben veel mooie dingen gezien, graag hadden we per activiteit nog een 15-30 minuten extra gehad (zeker cactustuin en huis Cesar M). Hiervoor zou dan de stop bij de aloe Vera geschrapt kunnen worden. Alles moest iets te snel gaan, maar de gids was wel bekwaam en vriendelijk. Leidde alles in goede banen.
