Hop aboard the Supercat catamaran and cruise off southern Gran Canaria in search of bottlenose dolphins. The calm, warm waters here are home to many of these amazing creatures, who because of superabundant food and highly oxygenated currents can spend their days playfully cavorting.

Catch the breezes on deck as you watch for your first glimpse – you'll often just see a fleeting shadow or flash of dorsal fin before a playful pod surges into view. Then, with a bit of luck, you'll be treated to an incredible show as they leap, plunge and race through the water alongside you.

And you may even spot baby dolphins swimming close to their mothers, too. Other species found in these waters include, common, striped and spotted dolphins while fin and pilot whales. This is a remarkable chance to see an array of marine life in its natural habitat.

2 hour transfer for 30 minute taxi ride, incredibly rough voyage (should be more consideration/warning of how extreme it is), loud music blaring out the whole cruise, like an 18-30 drinking cruise.

Coach arrived on time they checked all names on board so they new how many passengers were on board . It took us all the way to the catamaran . On board it was excellent nice big seats or sun beds at extra cost drinks on board were reasonably priced . And the guide on board was excellent great sense of humour. Also a jacuzzi on board over all would highly recommend.

For those looking for actual dolphin and marine animal experiences this isn't the trip to go on. From the 2 hours the first 20 mins were spent looking at some dolphins with no real guide from the crew. After that you just went down the coast at a constant speed pretty much like the water taxi while the crew sold and catered for water sports for those on the 4hr trip. We pretty much sat there for the last 1hr 40 mins bored.

No “guide” to rate No communication for transfer back left us confused and lost luckily did eventually find information afterward Left to sit in the sun for far too long before disembarking To get the “2 hours in” captain just crawled back to harbour at 1 knot Wouldn’t pay anywhere near a much as we did won’t use this TUI excursion service again in a hurry Boat wasn’t fit for purpose low hand rails etc. felt unsafe walking to toilets or getting refreshments

It was a very relaxing experience - the weather was good, the sea was calm and we enjoyed the sangria. We did see dolphins but we did not view them for long as we were told that it was a long way back to Puerto Rico. We then proceeded to cruise at a very slow pace back to the harbour. I felt that the captain was definitely trying to kill time! I certainly did not feel a ‘wow’ factor about this experience and would therefore not recommend it to others
