From Amsterdam, you'll head into the countryside and travel north to Zaanse Schans, a windmill village on the River Zaan known for its green wooden houses. The area was an important industrial centre around the turn of the 18th century, when hundreds of windmills were in operation.
You'll then stop in Volendam for a short guided walking tour before boarding a boat to cross the lake. Your trip also takes you to Marken, a traditional fishing village on the shores of the former Zuiderzee. Along the way, you'll see demonstrations of traditional cheese making and clog making.
You can choose between the following options available in the order box:

- The Full Tour includes cheese and clog-making demonstrations, a boat trip on the Marken Express, a visit to an operational windmill at Zaanse Schans and a syrup waffle demonstration.
- Classic + Edam Tour includes cheese and clog-making demonstrations, a boat trip on the Marken Express and a visit to the village of Edam.
- All-In + Edam Tour includes a visit to Edam, cheese and clog-making demonstrations, a boat trip on Marken Lake and a visit to an operational windmill.
