Embark at Black River on the west coast of Mauritius, which is not only popular for white sandy beaches, but also the best spot to see wild dolphins and whales. Enjoy the beautiful blue turquoise seawater of this coast and admire the playful Bottlenose dolphins. Stop for some swimming time where you can also go snorkeling in the refreshing waters near the reef.

The trip then continues outside the lagoon into high seas to see the whales in their natural habitat. Sperm Whales can be spotted all year round, while Humpback Whales can be seen from June to September during migration.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Rundherum zufrieden, auch wenn der Tag etwas holprig begonnen hat. Wir wurden am Hotel nicht abgeholt. Aber kurzfristig wurde alles vom Hotel neu organisiert. Am Ende ein wirklich toller Tag mit tollen Leuten.

Kregen echt het gevoel dat er op de dolfijnen werd ‘gejaagd’ zodat mensen erbij konden zwemmen. Had echt medelijden met de dolfijnen. De zoektocht naar de walvissen verliep beter, daar werd gezegd dat je er niet bij mocht zwemmen om hun geen stress te geven, zoals het zou moeten zijn. andere boten lieten dat dan weer jammer genoeg wel toe! We hebben verschillende potvissen gezien en dat was prachtig!

Wir hatten Glück und sahen Delfine und sehr viele Wale. Trotz technischem Gebrechen beim ersten Boot wurde schnell gehandelt und das Abenteuer fortgesetzt. Verboten sollte unbedingt für alle das Tauchen mit den Walen werden. Unser Guide ließ uns nicht ins Wasser. Das Schnorcheln war zum Abschluss Horror, ich kam ganz verbessert ins Boot zurück. Darauf wurden wir leider nicht hingewiesen.

We had a great morning we saw female sperms whales with their babies and very rare site of an male sperm whale which came very close to the boat ,we also saw dolphins . Great trip ,only thing we didn't like was the early start of 6am but well worth it to see the whales and dolphins
