After pickup, you'll head to Kalishta, a spiritual site on the shores of Lake Ohrid. You'll visit the rock-carved monastery, where monks once lived and worshipped inside the mountain. You'll learn about their way of life, explore the carved chambers and the nearby church, and see one of the oldest trees in North Macedonia.
The adventure continues in Struga, known as the city of poetry and bridges. Struga hosts the Struga Poetry Evenings, one of the largest poetry festivals in the world, whose winners include several Nobel Prize laureates. In the city centre, you'll stop at the local market to taste fresh, homemade products from local gardens. You'll see the source of the Black Drin River and enjoy a walk through the town centre. Then there's free time for lunch, giving you the chance to choose a restaurant or café at your own pace.
After lunch, you'll visit the Nezlobinski Museum, showcasing the flora and fauna of the Ohrid region. You'll also stop at the Brothers Miladinovci Memorial House, dedicated to two important figures in North Macedonian cultural history. This full-day tour offers a blend of history, culture, nature, and local life.
