Watching the sunrise over Bali's most active volcano is an incredible adventure. We'll head in the early hours to the foot of Mount Batur and after a two-hour trek to the summit, you'll enjoy a light breakfast and time to rest. Take in an awesome sunrise over the smoking crater of Mount Agung before we head back down to unwind in the hot springs.

Man wird komplett falsch über diese Tour informiert. Für den Weg zum Gipfel wurde uns feste Schuhe und warme Kleidung empfohlen (ist für den normalen Weg ja mal ausreichend). Für den Weg den unserer Guide mit uns gegangen ist wäre eine richtige Bergsteigerausrüstung erforderlich gewesen. Das war absolut lebensgefährlich. Informationen vom Guide kamen so gut wie keine. Die heissen Quellen befinden sich in eine abgewirtschafteten Anlage und nicht wie angenommen in einer natürlichen Quelle.

Adembenemend uitzicht, hike was helemaal top.. voor niet getrainde mensen graag meer uitleg hoe je moet klimmen en gewicht verdelen tegen een bergwand met losse stenen. Betere waarschuwing dat het serieus koud kan zijn op de top, had ik me zelf in vergist. Wel lange mouwen zoals werd aanbevolen maar een shirt en geen trui achtig iets.

We found out we paid nearly triple what everyone else did so would only book directly now! However the guide for this was incredible and cannot thank him enough. The description should probably be changed to 'requires athletic ability' rather than just good mobility as I didn't expect sheer cliff faces to be climbing. Once in a lifetime experience thanks to the guides helping us the whole way and being so encouraging to get to the top
