In Rothenburg ob der Tauber, you'll visit the Reiterlesmarkt, set across the market square, green market and church square. During the pre-Christmas period, you can immerse yourself in the traditional atmosphere as you stroll through the old town, decorated with festive lights.
The tour continues to Würzburg's Christmas market, one of the most atmospheric in Germany. With the historic Falcon House and the Gothic Marienkapelle as backdrop, around 100 stalls line the square, offering a wide variety of seasonal goods.
You can browse stalls selling spices, Christmas tree decorations, carvings, candles, ceramics, jewellery and toys, as well as children's carousels. Food and drink options include mulled wine, roasted almonds and other festive specialities.
