The shallow reefs and rocky outcrops off the southern tip of Sal are an ideal playground for the local parrotfish, butterflyfish, rays and turtles – and you'll have a prime view from your clear kayak. You'll be matched with either a totally transparent kayak, or one with two large windows for unrestricted underwater watching. Both models seat two people, so you can share the paddle power for the hour's tour. Your guide will lead you at a gentle pace into the waters off Santa Maria Bay or Bikini Beach, where you'll drift directly above the action on the seabed, all while staying warm in the sunshine.

Really nice experience! Paddling in the clear kayak is super cool because you can see the ocean and the fish right under you, the water was so clean and the kayak offer great visibility. The team was very friendly and everything was easy and well organized. Pick up on time! The guide gave us a lot of nice information about marine life, what to expect and conservation efforts in Cape Verde! We were also super lucky and saw a sea turtle swimming below us, which was such a special moment.

We enjoyed this trip and saw turtles and other sea life, little struggle getting in and out the boat, but we had a fab time making memories

We feel we were mis sold this! The kayak wasn't clear! It had a clear bottom. Nothing like the picture! We couldn't see much and were very disappointed with the experience. Wouldn't recommend or book again

I enjoyed the experience, although my Partner did not. She had trouble getting into the kayak due to the strong waves and aborted, but I carried on with the trip. Would be better if you could launch from the beach or a jetty.

An interesting experience. With a friendly guide but his English was not brilliant. Instruction very brief and sea on th brink of too windy / dangerous. We do have some rowing experience but it was a difficult paddle. We were not specifically asked if we could swim although had signed so. We were not asked what strength. We also waited half an hour after specified time with no prior delay indicated. Safety needs to be greatly improved. No sea creatures seen as instructor said it was too rough.
