Start at Lac Cai beach and follow your guide as you paddle to the mangrove. Admire the breathtaking sceneries around you and look down through the glass bottom of your kayak. Paddle through the mangrove tunnels and spot various types of birds. Enjoy a snorkel break in one of the mangrove tunnels and observe the countless types of fish, corals and sponges.

The mangroves are protected and part of the RAMSAR treaty as they are the birthplace of various types of animals. Back on Lac Cai beach, you can enjoy a bit of fruit punch with a snack Your guide will show you a place to spot turtles, here you can snorkel on your own.

Leuke Bonairiaanse dames met goed en duidelijk verhaal. Groepgrote was prima - 8 kayaks. Er was die dag veel wind en het zicht met snorkelen was door het zand en onrustige water wat minder. Maar het was al met al een bijzonder leuke ervaring.

Stan was onze super leuke gids

Heel bijzonder om eerst door het helderblauwe water te kajakken en daarna door naar de Mangrove. Onze gids Yoeri was enthousiast en wist veel te vertellen. Ook het stuk snorkelen bij de Mangrove was bijzonder om te doen!

Genoten van deze tocht. De gids wist veel over de natuur de mangrove en Bonaire te vertellen. Oog voor detail. Een flamingo gespot die niet in de mangrove thuis hoort. De gids heeft direct actie ondernomen om deze te redden. Safety first ook voor de nature ?? Hierna de tocht kunnen vervolgen. Geslaagde middag.

Enige puntje zou dan zijn dat er wat meer verteld zou mogen worden over de kraamkamer waar we doorheen snorkelen. We hadden nog een extraatje met het vangen van een flamingo die uit het reservaat was ontsnapt en die terug gebracht.

Please meet your guide at Lac Cai Beach at 13:00 (1 pm). First you will pass by the Mangrove Center, continue driving until you see the mountains with the conch-shells.
