Having carved their way through travertine rocks for millions of years, the pure jade waters of the lakes and waterfalls at Plitvice Lakes National Park are a sight to behold. You'll enjoy a boat trip to admire it all and have plenty of time to snap up the shimmering fluorescent lakes as well as the surrounding scenery on this full day tour.

From Zadar, you'll have an early start to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – in time for the mid-morning. You'll journey through the Dalmatian hinterland to get there, so it promises to be a day full of incredible landscapes.

When you arrive at the park, you'll board a boat to explore it up close. You'll also enjoy a nature walk along boardwalks and over bridges to all the best lookout points over the lakes, whose colours fill the spectrum of blues and greens.

Fantastisk tur. Noget af det smukkeste natur vi har set - og med rigtig god engelsk guide. Turen er også til børn, der er vant til at gå (vi var afsted med vores 2 børn på 11 og 5). Man går på en del træstier og der er masser af mennesker, så man skal ikke have gå-problemer. Turen er dog ikke hård. Vi vil anbefale turen til alle.

Allerdings fand alles unter Zeitdruck statt. Grad 20 Minuten Pause sind nicht viel und keine wirklichen Fotostops im Park oder Zeit um die Natur zu genießen. Und Achtung ca. 2 Stunden Busfahrt von Zadar.

Ihre Mitarbeiter (Fahrer, Guide) haben auf der Tour einen tollen Job gemacht. Ivana hatte viele Informationen in deutscher und englischer Sprache für uns. Sie hat uns super durch den Park geführt.Großes Lob an Ivana und den Fahrer Ivan?? Ber der zuständige TUI Mitarbeiterin vom Zaton Holiday Resort würde ich mir wünschen das sie die Ausflüge angagierter verkauft und das Gespräch auch in deutscher und nicht nur in englischer Sprache möglich ist.

Why did the hotel guide sell us a tour for the price of a 7-year-old child if our child is 5? Also, the tour guide Ivanna should explain the route more clearly, otherwise people constantly get lost. You can hand out a park map on the bus and explain it properly. And in the park itself, carry a flag, a microphone and show the direction at forks. Also take into account the pace of old people and children.
