Embark on a comprehensive tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mount Etna. Standing at 3,400 metres, this majestic volcano offers an awe-inspiring spectacle of valleys and slopes, all under the guidance of an experienced tour guide.

The journey begins in Taormina with a brief stopover at the Alcantara Gorges. Here, you have the option to explore the park further by walking along the riverbed (for an additional fee). The adventure continues as you travel by coach to the Etna station, situated at an altitude of 1,900 metres on the volcano. There'll be a stop with the possibility of a short trek to visit the recent lava flows. Along the way, seize the opportunity to capture some memorable photographs of the scenic landscape.

From there, it is possible to ascend to the authorised crater zones at approximately 2,900 metres. Accompanied by licensed guides from the Italian Alpine Club, you'll be able to safely admire the summit craters within the designated security area. This immersive experience provides a fascinating insight into one of nature's most powerful forces.

Please note that from the 5th of May and 15th of May 2026, the cable car on Rifugio Sapienza, located on the south side of Mount Etna, will be under maintenance, so the stop and ascent will be done on the North side of Piano Provenzana only by jeep, no cable car for this period
