And on this tour, you'll not only see the famed ‘pearl of Sicily', but you'll also see the highest active volcano in Europe. Journey up to 1,900 metres for the grandstand views atop Mount Etna, before spending free time in Taormina and tasting the local Sicilian Arancino.

I enjoyed the Taormina tour, but due to two people being missed during transfer we had to wait around 30 minutes-1 hour. This is not the tours or TUIs fault, but meant we didn’t have enough time at Mount Etna

Not enough time in Taormina. Really enjoyed the guides understanding of Etna and disruptions/ effect etc. Would have liked to visit the wine yards/ sales. Too long a day without a meal stop

Amazing experience Our guide was Frank and he was very knowledgeable and fun We did think it was a little bit expensive as the tour only brought us half way up Mt Etna and we had to pay an expensive fee to ride the cable car up but we did it anyway but most people didn’t. I would recommend to anyone on the tour if they can afford it to continue on with the cable car and jeep to the top it was surreal
