As we were the only couple in one vehicle our guide Fanis asked us what we wanted to do and tailored our itinerary to what we wanted. Fanis was an excellent guide and we had a great day

Relaxed pace but lots seen. Loved the waterfall at Theologus but would have liked longer there and looking round the village. Excellent lunch break in Sotiros with great food and amazing views. Very informative guide. Would recommend.

We enjoyed the spectacular views and learning about the demographic changes in the villages and on the island more generally from our guide. The lunch was excellent. What we didn't like as much: the folklore museum in Theologos, which we really wanted to see, was closed and not open until later in the season. It was also disappointing that the villages themselves were so depopulated: we'd hoped to see something of traditional rural Greek life but it seemed to have pretty much disappeared.
