Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond and Outlander tour with boat cruise

Discover some of Scotland’s most iconic sights on this full-day tour from Glasgow, combining historic castles, Outlander filming locations, and a scenic cruise on Loch Lomond.

Your journey begins with a short drive to the impressive Kelpies, two towering horse sculptures that honour Scotland’s industrial heritage and engineering legacy.

You’ll then continue to Midhope Castle, famously known to Outlander fans as Lallybroch, the family home of Jamie Fraser. While entry inside is not permitted, you can walk around the grounds, soak up the atmosphere, and take photos at the iconic gate that brings the series to life.

Next, you’ll explore Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most important historic landmarks. With time to discover its grand halls and terraces, you’ll also enjoy sweeping views and learn about its pivotal role in Scotland’s royal history.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to the lochside town of Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond and board a scenic boat cruise across the water before returning to Glasgow in the late afternoon.
