Visiting the legendary Phi Phi Islands is a must-do when in Thailand. And there's no more stylish way to do so than this speedboat excursion. You'll zoom into the best beaches in the archipelago, and have free time to swim, snorkel and relax. And with Monkey beach and Pileh Lagoon also on the itinerary, it's sure to be a great day.

As you arrive in the islands, you'll pass the famous Maya Bay – where the Leonardo DiCaprio movie, The Beach, was filmed – en route to Monkey beach. It's so named for the troops of inquisitive monkeys that hang out here.

Our favourite stop is at the Pileh lagoon – towering cliffs surround the emerald water and you'll have plenty of time to take a dip. Later you'll be served a buffet lunch and then you can relax under the sun or snorkel and explore the coral reefs.

Lite stora vågor och högt vatten, så det var svårt att se några fiskar och koraller. Underbart väder, fantastisk mat och väl värt pengarna då man har chansen att se både baby sharks och massor med apor. En barnvänlig utflykt när det är lugnare vatten. Personalen på båten tog endast fram flytvästar när sjöpolisen var i sikte, sen stoppades de undan igen, så lite dåligt säkerhetstänkande där.

Personalen på båten var utmärkt service-inriktade. Erbjöd frekvent dryck under resan och det var ett tydligt schema hela dagen. Det som drar ner helhetsintrycket är att ställena som båten stannar på är fruktansvärt överbefolkat med turister. Det tar bort charmen för oss. Men snorkingen på bamboo Island var en höjdare. Vi åkte en hel familj och även om det var en bra dag så är det inte värt pengarna.

We were looked after so well for the whole day, our dietry requirements were adhered to well, the whole team ensured we knew what to expect from the day, and they ensured we felt relaxed and safe the whole time. Refreshments were on hand throughout the day and every stop we made was completely stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and we also had the option to have a photographer for an additional fee which was so worthwhile to capture amazing memories from the day! Highly reccommend this day!

Between 1st August to 30th September, Maya Bay will be closed to visitors due to ecosystem preservation. During this time, there'll be a sightseeing boat tour of the bay, from a respectful distance

Children must be over 3 years of age to take part while adults must be aged under 70 to take part in speedboat excursions
