Then, it's time to swap out your wheels for a sandboard and glide down the Timlalin Sand Dunes. Next up, you'll hop onto a camel for a laidback ride along the beach and palm groves as the sun sets on the horizon. Your adventure wraps up at a cosy ranch with a barbecue and live traditional music before heading back to your hotel.

Really excellent tour. You get plenty of time on the quad bikes. The sand surfing was great fun although the walk up the dune was hard work. So much easier for our tour guide who was both younger and fitter! 😂 The camel ride was also excellent and of a good length time wise. BBQ food was also delicious. Not a problem for us, but the venue does not serve alcohol, only soft drinks (extra cost) or water (included). The evening entertainment/music was not expected but created a lovely atmosphere.

This was 4pm to 11pm, our hotel being around an hour from Ranch Tamri. On arrival, we enjoyed welcome tea and biscuits before heading to the dunes for around 1.5 hours of quad biking and sandboarding. The camel ride lasted about an hour, which felt slightly long, but the stunning views made up for it. Back at Ranch Tamri, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner with traditional music and dancing. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and happy to take photos and videos throughout, take some cash for tips.
