Dip your toe into Agadir's history and culture, with a half-day tour to all its hotspots. Visit a traditional kasbah, take a stroll along the port and round and get your bearings with free time in the town.
First up is a visit to the kasbah of Agadir Oufella. Built in 1541 as a fortress, the ruins stand on a hill out of town and offer sweeping views over the harbour, beach and city. Next, we'll drive through the port area, where you can catch sight of the fishermen offloading their catch of the day. Then, it's on to the new town and the main streets of Agadir where you can take some snaps outside Mohamed V Mosque.
We'll then slow down the pace with a guided visit and free time at the main market, Souk El Had. Haggling with stallholders for spices, crafts, furnishings and more isn't just part of the experience – it's expected. Or why not sip on a mint tea as you watch the world around you.
