Sunsets and Santorini go together like the Eiffel Tower and Paris. Come dusk, the skies over the island fill with swirls of red, gold and mauve, lighting up the caldera like nothing you've ever seen before. And this trip gives you front row seats for Mother Nature's display.

Climb aboard a wooden sailing boat and pass the old port of Thira and the volcano before dropping anchor by Thirassia Island. Then it's time to enjoy a dinner served in Captain John's Taverna on the jetty, with complimentary white wine and water.

Back on-board, you can watch the sun set as it casts the sea and Santorini in a rainbow of colours. It's a fantastic way to experience what must be one of the most beautiful sunsets on earth. What's more, you'll also have the chance to swim in Santorini's famous hot springs, too.

I’ve done this last year with a smaller boat and it was much better. This time staff was very cold, too many people on the boat, the staff was tired and cold but the worse thing was the music. Horrible dance music all the time. Also same song repeated 30 times probably. Last year, during the sunset we had some great romantic music, this time just random dance music. Really horrible!

Food provided was terrible. Swimming for those who wanted was restricted to 30 minutes. Basically 156 Eros for a couple to have a boat ride with very poor dinner. Other experiences the food was very tasty so not sure why this was so bad.

Trip was excellent. Some communication around our pick up was very unclear - luckily I called the helpline which meant we found our pick up literally behind a wall we were sheltering from the sun in!!! Otherwise, we may have missed out trip!

Great view of the sunset, very peaceful and good that the boat wasn't full. Would not have been as good if it had have been. We didn't swim (which you could although I'm not sure the place we stopped was great for the thermal springs). We had a meal on Thirassia which was nice and we didn't have to share a table with others. The food in Captain John's was nice and we got a half carafe of wine and water.

The cruise itself was ok but the return transport confusing. We were dropped off after 25 minutes to wait 1/2 hour for another coach😩

We did enjoy this trip, jumping off the boat for a swim was great fun, 4 course meze was good, nice to have alittle wander along the beach front. Sunset was excellent well worth the trip. However there was a slight collision with a smaller yacht which was abit scary but we felt if this was more serious we hadn't been told any safety instructors before hand. Luckily both boats & everyone on board were all ok.
