Join this guided tour through the Great Garden, one of Europe's best-preserved Baroque gardens.

This miracle of Baroque gardening style owes its existence to a most unusual woman: Electress Sophia of the Palatinate. Inspired by the Sun King Louis XIV, she ordered the landscaping of this approximately 180-acre garden in the French style at the end of the 17th century. It became her life's work. Today more than 400,000 visitors a year enjoy the special flair of one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe.
