Blyde river canyon half-day Panorama Tour from Hazyview

This half-day Panorama Route tour offers a quick yet rewarding way to experience some of Mpumalanga’s most impressive highlights. It’s ideal for travellers with limited time who still want to enjoy sweeping views, dramatic landscapes, and a taste of the region’s natural beauty.

The journey includes a visit to the village of Graskop, a welcoming stop known for its forestry history and scenic surroundings. From here, the route continues to Lisbon Falls, the tallest waterfall in Mpumalanga, where water drops 94 metres into a deep, forested gorge. The tour also includes the Three Rondavels, a viewpoint overlooking the largest green canyon in the world. These towering dolomite formations rise above the Blyde River Canyon and resemble traditional African huts, creating one of the region’s most iconic scenes.

A stop at God’s Window adds another highlight. On clear days, this viewpoint offers sweeping vistas that can stretch more than 900 metres down into the Lowveld. A short walk through patches of indigenous rainforest leads to several viewing points, making it a favourite spot for photographers and nature lovers.

This experience is designed for those who want a short introduction to the Panorama Route without committing to a full-day trip. It offers clear views, accessible walks, and memorable photo opportunities. Meals are not included.
