Explore ARTIS Amsterdam Zoo, located just 10 minutes from the city centre on one of Amsterdam's canals. You'll discover newborn elephant calves playing outside, as well as monuments and flower gardens throughout this urban zoo.
Take part in the Elephant Expedition, following foot trails whilst learning about these giants and cracking the elephant code. Travel to Madagascar at the Kerbertterras – formerly the lion's enclosure – where ring-tailed lemurs, red ruffed lemurs and turtles live together. Then continue to the new enclosure of the Asian small-clawed otters, located next to the red panda habitat.
Visit the Planetarium for a journey through space, included with your admission. You'll discover stars and planets whilst marvelling at our place in the universe. Stroll through the city park, admire the architecture and explore the botanical garden before taking a relaxing break at one of the vegetarian restaurants.
