Chichen Itza is the awe-inspiring city that was once the centre of the Mayan empire. You'll discover the observatory, a marvel of ancient astronomy, and the revered Cenote Sagrado, a sacred sinkhole at the heart of Mayan rituals. On your return journey, you'll tuck into a tasty lunch box before arriving back at your hotel.

The tour itself was great. 90-min was more than enough time to spend at Chichen Itza. The journey from Playa del Carmen to Chichen Itza is about 2.5 hours each way, which we were fully aware of before booking - however, the transport was horrendous. We were on a tiny minibus for 20 people and I was that squashed my legs went numb towards the end of the journey. The food offered was awful: a little sandwich, a packet of cheap crisps & a breakfast bar for an 8 hour trip that cost £300-very poor!

Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the mayan culture came across so much in her tour it was fascinating to listen to her and ask her questions. As someone who travelled all that way just to go here, she really made in special and an unforgettable experience!!

Amazing trip!!

The tour was very interesting and informative. Our guide Hazel was fantastic and very passionate about his work and about life which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was also very quick and helpful when my daughter became faint due to the heat. Couldn't have asked for a better guide.

A bit hard to follow with dual language between English & Spanish and a lot of information. Miguel very knowledgeable though. Driver a superstar with cold flannels as well as water and food. Definitely both took into consideration the heat - would definitely recommend them both
