On Wednesdays, access to St. Peter's Basilica may not be possible until 1 pm, due to the Papal Audience taking place in St. Peter's Square

Meeting point:

Meet your guide 15 minutes before the tour starts at the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi, between Caffè Vaticano and Hotel Alimandi Vaticano. The guide will be waiting at the bottom of the wide steps across the street from the entrance of the Vatican Museums. The closest metro stop is Ottaviano-Musei Vaticani (red line A). Coordinators will be wearing blue polo shirts or jackets for easy recognition.

Our guide, Sara Segatori, was amazing! Caring, personal, responsive to everyone’s individual needs and interests. It’s no mean feet keeping a tour together, safe and interested in crowds of 1000s of people for 3 hours. We learnt so much on this tour and are still speaking about all the cultural treasures that we have seen three days later. Initially, I was sceptical if it’s really worth paying this amount for a tour but yes, yes it absolutely was. So, bravo Sara!

Obwohl bekannt war, dass jeden Mittwoch Vormittag eine Audienz im Petersdom ist, haben wir über 500,00 Euro bezahlt. Eine kurzfristige Sperrung war dies nicht. Die Tour war also ohne den Petersdom. Dafür mussten wir dann selber über eine Stunde anstehen. Preis ist viel zu überteuert. Die Führung durch den Reiseführer war sehr gut und informativ. Insgesamt aber war es eine viel zu teure Führung.
