Your adventure begins when we drive over a causeway and a drawbridge, passing by Santa Maura Castle. Covering a whole islet, the walls are the only intact part of this once strategic Venetian fortification. Next up is Faneromeni Monastery, which boasts great views over the capital and lagoon.
Then we'll head along the west coast to Agios Nikitas. This gorgeous village slopes down towards the turquoise sea. It's an ideal spot for a coffee break and a gander in the shops. From here, visit Kathisma beach, where you'll have a couple of hours to swim, sunbathe and relax. Finally, drive to the south coast village of Vassiliki, watching the windsurfers in the bay while chilling at the harbour.
