Sample the Cypriot lifestyle with this evening experience. In the countryside surrounds of a donkey sanctuary, you'll get hands-on in halloumi-making and bread baking and tuck into the tasty results. Then, when the sun sets, you'll dine on a feast of local dishes with free-flowing drinks, followed by live music and Greek dancing under the stars.

This trip on the whole is very good, although a couple of dissapointing aspects. I think it would be better for the children to be offered food more suited to them maybe sausage and rice or offer pasta dishes. Also it was difficult to hesr what was being said at times. Our guide was really nice and very informative, however because so many other things going on and people talking during demonstrations you actually can't hear a lot of it. Finally 2 children both bitten all over fleas!

The actual experience was very good and interesting. The donkeys were well behaved and the information given was also excellent. The food was good and the wine was reasonable. The travel time took over an hour and a quarter which was too long given the hot conditions and this should be stated in the experience narrative.

The whole experience showing how to make traditional foods from donkey milk. How the farm look after the donkey’s then donkey rides. The traditional buffet with lots of wine then the entertainment acts then dancing. A great night had by all🫏🥂

This experience was overall very enjoyable though I just start with the caveat that it was an hour transfer to the location which wasn’t explained to us at the point of sale. Now having a 3 year old that kind of info does matter. That said once at Golden Donkeys we had a wail of a time. From laughing as our little girl got to ride her first donkey and feed them Carobs to watching traditional dancing and some very delicious homemade food. I would rate this is a solid 8.5/9 out of 10.

The actual excursion was very good including the donkey farm and Cypriot experience. Unfortunately we travelled on an old coach with very little leg room. Also the coach was behind schedule and the driver drove rather recklessly at speed getting far too close to the vehicle in front on too many occasions.

Guide was really good. A lot on offer on the tour for everyone. Enjoyed the interactivity such as the dancing and food tasting. Meal included was good. Overall one of the best excursions we have been on with TUI.
