This full-day tour including lunch, hotel pickup and drop-off will take you from city to coast to mountains so you can be sure to see the main sights Rio has to offer in just one day.
The tour begins with a visit to Corcovado Mountain where Christ the Redeemer will introduce you to Rio. The ride to the base of the statue is a short drive of about 20 minutes through the Tijuca Forest and gives a preview of the wonderful landscape that’s waiting for you. Then, head towards the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, the Sambódromo, a purpose-built parade area for Carnival, and the Journalist Mario Filho Stadium, popularly known as Maracanã, for an exterior visit. You’ll then head to a typical Brazilian steakhouse for a buffet lunch.
After lunch, you'll visit Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the icons of Rio. Here, you'll jump on a cable car ride to the top where you’ll have a stunning view of the city. To complete the excursion, go on a panoramic tour along the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana with stops for pictures.
